What the customer was facing.
An earlier vendor’s Oracle EBS → IRIS integration had been bolted on rather than engineered. Complex manufacturing tax scenarios broke it routinely; extraction was slow; mismatches between EBS and IRIS forced daily manual reconciliation. The finance team had stopped trusting the pipeline.
The approach we ran.
Rather than patch around the legacy code, we rewrote the Oracle EBS extraction layer from scratch — handling every manufacturing-tax scenario the business actually had, not the simplified subset the original build assumed. End-to-end e-invoicing now runs as a scheduled background process, no human in the loop on the happy path.
